 Adrienne Mansanares   Adrienne Mansanares, Director of Community Leadership

Adrienne Mansanares is the Director of Community Leadership at The Denver Foundation.  Adrienne joined the Foundation in 2008 as the Inclusiveness Project’s first Program Officer to develop and manage the program.  Before joining The Denver Foundation, Adrienne worked for nearly 7 years at a community-based management support organization, the Community Resource Center.  Adrienne is a regular presenter at regional and national conferences and an alumna of the Circle of Latina Leadership.  A recipient of the 2014 Denver Major's Diversity Award, she serves on the board of Community Shares of Colorado and as board chair of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.  Adrienne earned a degree in Political Science, graduating with Departmental Distinctions at the University of Colorado at Denver, and enjoys running half-marathons and laughing with her husband and two young sons.

     Lauren Casteel, Vice President, Philanthropic Partnerships Department

The Inclusiveness Project is housed in the Philanthropic Partnerships department.

Lauren has worked in the nonprofit and foundation sectors for 18 years with responsibility in various aspects of leadership, special initiatives, communication, grantmaking, fundraising, board development, operations, and external affairs. Lauren also served The Denver Foundation as Vice President of Donor Services. Prior to her work at The Denver Foundation, Lauren served as the executive director of the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation and executive director and president of The Hunt Alternatives Fund. Further, she was senior communications advisor for Mayor Federico Pena. In this role she developed communications strategies to support his agenda of urban revitalization, economic development, and improved neighborhoods. Lauren has also worked as a producer of news and public affairs programs at KWGN Channel 2 and KRMA Channel 6 respectively. Originally from New York, Lauren is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Communications.

Jamie Morgan     Jamie Morgan, Principal, Morgan & Rushton Consulting

Jamie Morgan holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University and is the Principal of Morgan & Rushton Consulting—a firm specializing in training, consulting and group process facilitation.

With more than 15 years of experience in the field of diversity and inclusiveness, Jamie approaches her work of helping organizations become more effective by becoming more inclusive of diverse perspectives and experiences.  Jamie’s style is interactive, using storytelling and experiential activities as a vehicle to help groups move through what can become charged conversations with authenticity and compassion. She prides herself on being able to help everyone in the room connect with his or her own deeper truth and relate it to the collective transformational experience.
