A powerpoint explaining how a structural racism lens is needed in order to “understand the interactions between institutions and between institutions and people” and to “look at metropolitan-wide strategies if we truly want to deconcentrate poverty, integrate our neighborhoods and schools, and equalize wealth and opportunity.” The powerpoint also describes examples of structural racism and addresses examples of and causes of disparities based on race.
