Does It Matter in What Order an Organization Uses These Materials?
In general, it is recommended that you follow the order of the six steps.
However, if your organization has previously completed the work that is described in any topic (e.g., Creating an Inclusiveness Committee), then feel free to move on to subsequent topics.
A variety of factors influences the timing of Step 2: Engaging in Inclusiveness/Diversity Training and Hiring Consultants/Trainers. In some cases, it may be better to do inclusiveness training before or after completing the other steps of an inclusiveness initiative.
