California Legislative Report Card on Racial Equity 2005

Eighteen pieces of legislation were chosen for review that, if passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor, would have the most direct positive impact on communities of color. These policies represent the top racial equity legislative initiatives that were voted on by the Assembly and Senate in 2005. The 2005 California Legislative Report Card on Racial Equity evaluates and grades the Governor and members of the California State Legislature on their responses to these initiatives.
